BVA Auctions does not purchase goods that are offered up for auction.

Search lots
How do I find a lot on our website?
Do you have any tips for using the search function?
In addition to entering the name of the product, there are a number of other options when using the search tool.
Jokers (*)
You use the joker symbol (*) if it does not matter where the word is located in the search term. For example, if you are searching for 'bicycle', you will get all results that include the word 'bicycle', such as 'bicycle tyre', 'bicycle lock' and 'bicycle carrier'.
Wild cards (?)
You may use a wild card is you are not sure about a character. This can be replaced by the wild card (notation: ?). For example, the search term "produ?t" will display the results for both 'product' and 'produkt'.
Exclusions (-)
Exclusions are used to exclude certain words from search results. For example, if you are searching for a 'bicycle', but you do not want 'bicycle locks' to be displayed in the results, you would then use 'bicycle* - bicycle locks'.
BVA Auctions also offers a video that explains how the search function works.
Sales process

Vehicles
Request vehicle informationYou may request vehicle details via ovi.rdw.nl.
What is (remaining) BPM?
BPM means Car and Motorcycle Tax (Belasting van Personeauto's en Motorrijwielen). This is a tax on the use of a car or motorcycle on the Dutch highways by any person living in the Netherlands or by any Dutch based company. Tax is charged from the time a car or motorcycle is registered in the Dutch vehicle register or from the time that the vehicle is first used on the Dutch highways (eg. a vehicle with a foreign registration). BPM also applies to vans as of 1st July, 2005.
Do I need to pay the (remaining) BPM?
When a car is sold, VAT will normally calculated on the selling price. However, VAT will not apply to the so-called remaing BPM. This prevents a buyer from having to be taxed on tax. Remaining BPM normally applies if a company fails to meet the conditions of a BPM refund for vans within 5 years of the purchase. This relates to vans registered on or after July 1st, 2005. After this period of 5 years, remaining BPM no longer applies to these vans.

If the vehicle does not have a valid APK permit, it may only be transported by transporter.
- The buyer must provide his own transportation to the RDW or GWK.
- the buyer needs to take into account the opening hours for RDW and GWK.
Export procedure for vehicles?

- First you must retrieve the papers and license plates at the pick-up location.
- Then you must present these at the RDW or GWK to request an export permit or clearance.
There are fees involved in these procedures.
- Any vehicles purchased will only be released after an export declaration or an indemnity certificate has been issued.

What is an auto bid and what is a static bid?
There are two ways to bid in our online auctions:
- Static bid: a static bid is the next bid that you place on a lot. You are required to monitor the lots yourself.
Auto bid: if you place an auto-bid you provide the system with a maximum bid. The system will monitor the development of bids and will outbid another bid up to the maximum amount you have permitted, while taking into account the minimum increases per bid. Only when someone else places a bid higher than your auto-bid will you no longer be the highest bidder.
Approval by customer
When the auction ends you can check if any lots have been awarded by the client in the bid information on the website. If a certain predetermined bid is not reached, the client has the right not to award the goods.
